Walk & Talk Therapy

(offered April 1st - September 30th)

Have a low desire to sit in an office space during the warm summer months - I get you. Let’s take our 50-minutes on a walk and embrace the therapeutic benefits of movement, sunshine and nature - together. Please note walk & talk bookings are limited :)

A walk & talk therapy session is perfect for individuals seeking the therapeutic benefits of psychotherapy (talk therapy) and the benefits of movement and nature.

That being said, there is, of course, less opportunity to control the environment with therapy outdoors, as we don’t have the boundaries of four walls and may be interrupted by people, animals or events. This doesn’t mean that the therapeutic benefits of it are less, simply that it is a different experience. You may decide that you need the additional sense of containment of being in a room, or you may value a feeling of freedom in being outside - I also welcome a mix of both!

It’s important to note that due to the nature of walk & talk sessions taking place outside in a public setting there are inherent risks and differences to the confidential nature of therapy. With that in mind we suggest these sessions are not supportive for folks who are looking for depth work, and trauma processing as our relationship and work will be conducted in a public setting.
